[edit]Speedy deletion nomination of Sonic Generations
[edit]Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Sonic Generations, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Tbhotch* ۩ ۞ 04:48, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
The article Sonic Generations has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Probable hoax, no notable, no sources, etc
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Tbhotch* ۩ ۞ 04:48, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Ninja-gaiden-iii-razors-edge-20110607014629684 640w.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Non-free rationale for File:Ninja-gaiden-iii-razors-edge-20110607014629684 640w.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Ninja-gaiden-iii-razors-edge-20110607014629684 640w.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Odie5533 (talk) 14:31, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
There is a rationale. --24.57.218.48 (talk) 00:56, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
A little note on non-free content
[edit]I'd suggest you to follow the policy on non-free content — according to this, "images should be rescaled as small as possible to still be useful as identified by their rationale, and no larger". Regards, -- Hounder4 (T) (C) 23:43, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:NinjaGaiden3logo(4).jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:NinjaGaiden3logo(4).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 07:37, 7 February 2012 (UTC)

Nonfree content on your userpage
[edit]Per the policies on the usage of non-free images on Wikipedia, non-free images are not allowed on pages outside of the article namespace, including userpages. The images on your user page are copyrighted and unlicensed, so I had to remove them. I'm sorry if you are upset by my editing your page without your permission, but this is a rule where Wikipedia allows no exceptions. I want to make sure you know that this isn't personal. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or to seek another editor's opinion at the WP:MCQ discussion board. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 17:44, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 19
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Black Mesa (video game), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Half-Life (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Ground Zeroes
[edit]I have reverted your edits to Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. Again. You claim that the old version of the article is a compilation of everything that is known about the game. In a sense, you are right - however, all we "know" about the game is limited to the gameplay demo. By recounting that demo and having it form a substantial part of the article, you have effectively made a Wikipedia page about a demo of the game, which is not what Wikipedia is for. Please do not restore the article until such time as more information that is pertinent to the game emerges. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 06:09, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
- Right now, the focus of the article is the contents of the gameplay demo. It would be the same as if someone created a Wikipedia page for a film, and most of the article was taken up by a description of the trailer, which is not acceptable. The article currently fits a criteria for deletion because it the forcus is all wrong. The fact that a gameplay demo was shown at PAX is notable enough to be mentioned; the contents of that demo are not enough. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 05:53, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
AnddoX, please contribute to the talk page discussion rather than telling people to "Just stop.," and review WP:EDITWAR in case nobody has mentioned this to you already. – Steel 21:27, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
Also note that there is a bright line rule called the WP:3RR, which says: "An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing other editors—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Violations of the rule normally attract blocks of at least 24 hours. Any appearance of gaming the system by reverting a fourth time just outside the 24-hour slot is likely to be treated as a 3RR violation." Unfortunately, if you continue to edit war in this manner, you may end up being blocked. Also, in the words of Beeblebrox, anyone involved in an edit war is wrong. Edit warring can make things worse, which is why it is not tolerated. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 23:20, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
Ok, look. The next time you revert that page without providing some kind of substantial, policy based justification on the talk page (i.e. more than just two lines telling people to check their heads), you will be blocked from editing. – Steel 22:28, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
Blocked
[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
– Steel 20:48, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
- AnddoX, you need to discuss these things on the MGS:GZ talk page. You have been directed there several times, and yet you have not made a single comment there. Right now, there is a preliminary consensus that the current form of the article — ie, the reduced version, which you have been lobbying against — is the form that the article should take. If you want to make changes, you need to make the case there, and achieve a consensus first. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 23:37, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

Box art of Splinter Cell: Conviction
[edit]Hello, Anddox
Sorry to bother you but it is about this edit of yours in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction article. I was surprised – I don't live in North America – so, I investigated the image source. It seems true: This box art is released internationally.
Best regards,
Codename Lisa (talk) 11:28, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
- Hi,
- The cover art posted features the "M" for mature rating, an ESRB label branded only on North American box arts. This is why it is not considered international, even if the art itself is shared by all regions.
- Cheers. --Anddo (talk) 12:44, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
- Hi.
- I see. You have a point there. I will add your note to infobox.
- Best regards,

Stop changing the images
[edit]Also, how does the resolution of 2,577 × 4,129 (!!) fit into your definition of "low resolution"? Dude, wtf. --Niemti (talk) 08:26, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, but an unlockable costume for a character isn't suitable as their main image. Not according to WP:VG. I'm apologize, bud. --Anddo (talk) 08:34, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- Hi "apologize, bud". This costume is already shown, 2,577 × 4,129 is absolutely not low res, and Wikia is not a reliable source. --Niemti (talk) 17:34, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- And if you want to do actually contribute, go and try to make Ryu's article a GA. By editing its text, and extensively so. Which I did it with Ayane (with nearly 300 edits from this account alone, mostly in the previous month), and now you want to mess with it. And speaking of Ryu - just where are you, besides messing with images? Or even: just make it a B, then I'll make it GA. --Niemti (talk) 17:47, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
- Relax, pal. This isn't an edit war, and I don't care about your "contributions" and "GA" creations. And frankly I don't find your jokes funny. I've nerfed the resolution of the Ryu image if that's your problem, but an irrelevant bonus costume that made an appearance once in the whole franchise does not and will not have a place on any Wikipedia character page. I'm not too keen on starting an edit war, so you better understand the current situation. This is Wikipedia. Not Fanfiction.com or some promotional website. Don't take it the wrong way buddy, but my point is more logical. Sorry about all this but you gotta get your act straight. Cheers,--Anddo (talk) 03:14, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- You should care. I actually created Ayane's article from zero (it was a redirect in 2010, now 2 years later it is a GA). I very much know what I'm doing, but I don't know what you're saying ("Not Fanfiction.com or some promotional website." - as spoken by someone who finds his images on Wikia). Your edits at Ayane's article are not at all constructive and I say you should really stop messing up with my 2 years of work (continous research and editing) that just finally resulted in a Good Article status. --Niemti (talk) 16:46, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

- Also, don't place the cn tags on leads that are only summaries of articles (as you did with Mileena). --Niemti (talk) 17:44, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- I don't care. You can stop discussing this issue if all you have to say is "THIS IS MY ARTICLE DO NOT TOUCH". This is completely and utterly useless, and irrelevant. Provide some actual arguments, and stop crying on my talk page. I just don't care at all about whatever the hell you did to make any article "GA" this or "B' that. This doesn't make the current issue any more in your favor. Honestly I should report you for such blasphemy, and empty arguments that instigate this edit war. [edit]Your recent editing history at Ayane (Dead or Alive) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. [edit]Thanks for uploading File:Ninja Gaiden Black cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:12, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

WarioWare
[edit]Unfortunately, there is no guideline or policy that suggests we should feature the cover of every single game in an article where the game is not featured anywhere else. In fact, policy exists to show the contrary; there is no critical commentary which discusses Mega Party Game$!'s cover, and fair use tells us that we should only use the policy sparingly, where a lack of a certain fair use image would detriment the article's quality. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 09:50, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- Sounds right to me. I'll remove the image, but we might need to make a new article down the line. Cheers. --Anddo (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

The article The Phantom Pain (video game) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fails WP:NGAME
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Patchy1 05:32, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at The Phantom Pain (video game) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war.
--- Barek (talk • contribs) - 02:40, 10 December 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ...William 17:51, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

The rule clearly says edit warring is prohibited, even if you believe you are right, so it's not that. I don't especially have a history of collaborating with Ryu, so it's not that. You haven't even made an attempt to defend your actions, so I hardly think "my incompetence" is the problem here. Why are you so worked up, especially over something you claim you're so ready to quit? You're not making any sense. Sergecross73 msg me 04:13, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
- I spent the whole day away from a computer, so sorry for the late reply. But now I've seen this blatant double teaming, and your illogical moderation, I now believe that the both of you don't belong on Wikipedia. You're useless, Sergecross, you and your little buddy Ryukotsusei. Wanted to get that off my mind for a while now. Regardless, I'm going to keep reverting it despite any of your non-threatening claims. I was planning on retiring from Wikipedia tomorrow anyway, but I will keep reverting this file until I am permanently banned. The reason I'm doing this over a minor detail like an infobox picture isn't for the sake of it, but for the sake of corrupt incompetent mods like you. --Anddo (talk) 01:26, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
- I'm going to give you one last warning: If you so blatantly disregard 3RR again, you're going to be in for a much longer time, because you know better, and you're fresh off your last one. Stop this. Sergecross73 msg me 20:47, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
- I must strongly warn you to refrain from making personal attacks. The goal here is to build an encyclopedia, and insulting others helps in no way. Also note that considering you blatantly admit your intentions to continue warring, any admin could be justified in blocking you to prevent disruption... but I'm willing to let you cool off and rethink it before taking any action. Note that further personal attacks or continued reverting will leave no choice, however. I hope you will be able to continue contributing constructively to the project! :) ·Salvidrim!· ✉ 01:31, 27 February 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:MGRVT album cover.png)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:MGRVT album cover.png.
Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:16, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

The file File:Hammer and Sickle white with crimson.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused raster image, taken from existing wikimedia SVG
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jon Kolbert (talk) 08:10, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
